Liberals are always generous ... with other people's money. Toronto Mayor Oliva Chow has warned that the city may need to raise property taxes paid by residents to cover a $107 million ($78M USD) budget shortfall caused by the city picking up the tab for sheltering migrants after the Canadian government stopped providing funds. Chow indicated that the only two options available to the city were to (i) stop sheltering the migrants (which would aggravate the homeless problem) or (ii) raise taxes.
Be like all smart and stuff.
