- Enjoying the enrichment: "Massachusetts town bows down to anti-Israel mob as it hoists Palestinian flag over public park after 'heated' debate - where activists were booted out after chanting anti-Semitic slogans"--Daily Mail. The town had a policy that allowed any person or group to petition to have a flag flown over the townhall. Thus, it had previously flown an Israeli flag for almost a month to show support for Israel. But the Palestinians thought it only fair that their flag be flown as well, but the Jews in the community got upset and opposed the Palestinian petition. So, in response to pressure from the Jewish residents--whom I'm all sure support free speech--the town changed its policy to no longer allow people to petition to fly flags (which is what the policy should have been all along). But the town had already put itself into a position where if they didn't fly the Palestinian flag, they would been engaging in possibly illegal viewpoint discrimination. Thus, to avoid being sued, they went ahead and allowed the Palestinian flag be flown because the petition was submitted before the change in policy. Probably a smart move on their part. Again, however, if they hadn't allowed anything but the U.S. flag and state flag to be flown--as should have been the policy all along--they would never have found themselves in the middle of a battle between non-assimilated foreigners over which foreign flags would be flown over the town.
- This is just crazy: "Mexico's first openly nonbinary magistrate, Jesus Baena, 39, and partner, 37, are found dead at their home in suspected murder-suicide stabbing"--Daily Mail. An earlier Daily Beast article reported that LGBT+ protesters took to the streets to protest the killings and demand justice. Then the facts started to leak out about killings. "The suggestion that suicide may be among the possible causes of death was met with anger by some LGBTQ+ groups in Mexico—where authorities have previously been accused of failing to adequately respond to violence against their community members," the Daily Beast went on to report. But now police have confirmed, according to the Daily Mail, that:
Dorian Nieves, 37, allegedly used a razor to cut Jesús Baena, 39, before killing himself with the same sharp object, state prosecutor Jesús Figueroa told Mexican news outlet Milenio on Tuesday.
'The magistrate's body has 20 wounds, a fatal one in the jugular, and his partner has wounds on his fingers that are caused, according to experts, precisely by the use of the razor ... that (was) used as an instrument of aggression.'

- The Great Replacement is a fiction: "Apple agrees to record $25 million discrimination settlement for hiring immigrants over US citizens"--The Post Millennial. From the article:
According to the Department of Justice, the tech giant didn’t recruit US citizens or permanent residents for jobs that were eligible for the permanent labor certification or PERM program, which enabled employers to sponsor immigrant workers for green cards. The practice was a violation of a federal law that bans discrimination based on citizenship.Additionally, Apple didn’t advertise job openings that were eligible for the program on its website as it does for other positions, and the tech company required applicants to mail paper applications even though it usually permits electronic applications. The agency said in a statement that the settlement is the largest ever for the DOJ involving claims of discrimination based on citizenship and will require the iPhone maker to pay $6.75 million in civil penalties and $18.25 million to an unspecified number of affected workers.
With their defeat of conservatism they have only each other to fight.
