The Coming Days of Rage

The speed of Pres. Trump's offensive against the Deep State has been awesome to behold, including the organized program to flood the United States with illegal aliens. In this regard, Trump has both directly targeted illegals by ordering the deportation of illegal aliens, which is currently being carried out by ICE agents across the U.S. The other, which I hope to discuss more in the future, is cutting off the flow of our tax dollars to NGOs that actively promote and assist migrants in reaching the U.S., getting across the border illegally or through baseless claims of asylum, and then assist them in various ways to remain here and take advantage of government programs originally intended to help poor and disadvantaged Americans.

And its working. I've read that border crossings are down 93% just from November when Trump won the presidential election.

But the Deep State and Leftist will not go quietly into the night. They may be in shock and awe temporarily, but they will fight back in various ways: legal action, actions through Congress, protests, and other actions aimed at the American people.

In the latter category, this past weekend saw the beginning of protests being organized against Trump's deportation program. For instance, as the AP reports, "Marchers protesting planned deportations block major freeway in Los Angeles." From the article:

Protesters gathered in the morning on LA’s historic Olvera Street, which dates to Spanish and Mexican rule, before marching to City Hall. They called for immigration reform and carried banners with slogans like “Nobody is illegal.”

By the afternoon, marchers had blocked all lanes of U.S. 101, causing traffic to back up in both directions and on surface streets. The demonstrators sat down in lanes, while a cordon of California Highway Patrol officers stood by. It took more than five hours for the freeway to fully reopen, CHP Lt. Matt Gutierrez said Sunday evening.

The CHP and the Los Angeles Police Department said there were no reports of arrests.

Keep that last line in mind, because it is a bell weather statement of what to expect as the protests spread from just shutting down transportation networks to possible riots: the protestors will be protected just as we saw with the BLM riots. The question is with the federal money channels shut down, how long can the left afford to protect them?

Also telling from the protest is this comment from the Los Angeles Times' news article on the protest:

Draped in Mexican and Salvadoran flags, demonstrators gathered near City Hall shortly before noon, blocking traffic at Spring and Temple streets, amid honking horns and solidarity messages from passing motorists. Protesters blasted a mix of traditional and contemporary Mexican music from a loudspeaker, and some danced in the road in traditional feathered headdresses.

These protestors are not even propositional Americans. They openly proclaim their otherness and their opposition to America.

Protests apparently were held in other cities across the country this weekend:

But as far as I can tell, outside of the L.A. protest, the numbers seem to have been very modest. The anti-deportation movement may be less popular than Kamala Harris (i.e., 75% of Americans support deporting illegal aliens).

But just as the Left turned to terrorism in the 1960s and '70s, we can expect the same in the future. In fact, it may have already begun. News Nation reports that "Cartels authorized the use of weaponized drones against ICE agents." From the lede:

Cartels have authorized the use of weaponized drone explosives against border agents and other U.S. law enforcement at the southern border as violent threats are escalating on social media, with some promising the use of deadly force against Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is taking the threats seriously enough to circulate two memos among agents and officers within the agency. ...

One of the memos highlighted social media posts threatening ICE agents including "One post encourages people to assassinate ICE police, while a TikTok video tells immigrants illegally in the U.S. to spit and urinate on ICE agents’ food and defecate in their vehicles. Another post calls for the murder of local ICE agents.

And "[a] second memo warns that cartels have authorized the use of drone explosives against CBP personnel and U.S. law enforcement officers."

    1. Normally the truth will make you free, but for many Dems, it will probably lead to jail.
