• "FEMA employees fired over ‘egregious’ $59M payment for NYC migrants"--New York Post. It wasn't just that the payments were for housing illegal aliens, but also that the payments were for housing the illegals in luxury hotels. And it wasn't just low level types being fired, but FEMA's Chief Financial Officer, Comans, and her team: two program analysts and a grant specialist. The payments were probably made pursuant to "FEMA’s Shelter and Services Program, which reimburses municipalities and organizations for migrant-related expenses." The payments were made, however, after Trump had issued an order requiring such payments to stop. Nevertheless, the New York City mayor is still complaining that the country's taxpayers had not done enough to subsidize the City's virtue signaling, writing in a statement: “We have already spent over $7 billion on this crisis alone, and the previous administration committed only $237 million in funding to help house the migrants in our care and for future services.” Perhaps the City shouldn't have been feeding and sheltering invaders in luxury hotels.
  
• "Norwegian Refugee Council halts aid in over 20 countries after USAID cuts"--Al-Monitor. The article indicates that the organization is "One of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations for displaced people," and suggests that it is providing food, clean water, and other humanitarian aid to displaced people. And perhaps the organization is truly doing a stellar job of feeding and clothing the poor and hungry, but (i) why is this money going to a Norwegian group instead of American aid organizations? And (ii) are they involved in the flow if "refugees" to the U.S.? 
• "Report: Trump’s suspension of USAID has already caused loss of 35,000 jobs in Jordan"--Times of Israel. From the article:

    The National outlet reports that some 35,000 jobs have been lost as a result of the move, including both Jordanians and Americans working on projects funded by the US.

    One of Jordan’s larger nonprofits is quoted in the Emirati report as saying that more than half of its budget comes from US sources and the aid suspension has affected operations “tremendously.”

What the heck is going on in Jordan that requires that many people? What about creating jobs for U.S. citizens in the U.S.? Why is the money going to a Jordanian non-profit instead of an American charity?

• Is this related to the end of USAID? "PA’s Abbas ends programme of allowances to families of slain Palestinians"--Al Jazeera.  
• "Fury erupts over US foreign aid funding legal advice in UK for transgender asylum seekers"--The Express. Money from the State Department funding a bunch of LGBT propaganda and programs in the UK.
• So much for independent journalism: "USAID Was Spending $268 Million to Fund Over 6,000 Approved Journalists – While at the Same Time Spending MILLIONS to Silence Conservative, Independent Media Like The Gateway Pundit"--Gateway Pundit. 
  
• "Treasury Employees Estimate Fraud in Entitlement Payments at $50 Billion Annually"--Legal Insurrection. This is just half of the $100 billion of payments going to people without Social Security Numbers or temporary ID numbers. And imagine the number of payments going to people engaging in identity theft using a valid SSN but which does not belong to them.
• "The Media Is Lying to You About Their Government Funding"--Red State. Several media organizations receiving obscene amounts of money from the federal government have claimed that it was merely for subscriptions to their newspapers or services. But this article points out that is surely a lie because the amounts going to those media organizations was minimal before 2017, and dramatically jumped after Biden took office.

• Just so long at the rich don't suffer: "East Hampton officials reassure wealthy residents that officers won’t deport illegal migrant maids, landscapers and nannies"--New York Post. Basically, the mayor assured wealthy residents that the community would not be cooperating with ICE.
