In his latest Civil War 2.0 Weather Report, John Wilder addresses the urban versus rural divide. In the Chinese Communist Revolution, he notes, the Communists won because they controlled the countryside--and they won rural support from the peasants through offering up "free" land taken from the wealthy landowners. In Russia, the Communists held the cities, but nevertheless enjoyed an advantage in terms of armaments, control of the rail network, and a large pool of young men.
Wilder believes that in the modern United States, with so little of the food stored in cities, rural areas will have a distinct advantage over urban areas.
Today’s cities have about three days of food in them in the stores, and three days in the individual homes. So, inside a week, people would get hungry. Not starve, but get hungry unless they got sea and air lifts of food inbound. Given the levels of self-control of certain segments of the population, well, how long before cites go full Alferd Packer? Since they’d be surrounded by millions of residents with more weapons and ammo than all the militaries of the world, combined, they could be easily contained.
He also believes that the higher diversity in urban centers will work against them. "Why would Somalians fight for Minneapolis or Minnesota?" he asks. That's a good question. But there are those on the Left working on that issue. For instance, Hasan Piker, an "influencer" and left-wing political commentator recently stated: "We want more immigrants to come into your countries and then they're gonna f**k your sisters and then your daughters. We're here to destroy the White Race, Bitch." In other words, the standard Islamic motivations. And they can promise to throw open the borders and invite in more invaders, while offering up other people's land and property as rewards--already talking points among the DSA.
And these ideas appear to be becoming more main stream. For instance, I was reading a news article earlier today on a Hispanic teen killed while "playing" with a handgun at a friend's house. Someone had commented about the "other 'them' again" and received the following response: "just remember as each day goes by you are becoming more and more extinct". That has been the Leftist plan all along: the genocide and extinction of whites. People need to wake up to this before it is too late.
