The article is "14 Abandoned Cities Around the World With Eerily Beautiful Architecture" from Architectural Digest. The cities range from ancient settlements like Mesa Verde (Colorado) to more modern abandoned towns and settlements in California, Russia, the UAE, and more. Some I was already familiar with from other articles or videos, but some were new to me.
Always wanted to visit Svalbard.
