Wilder"s Latest Civil War 2.0 Report: "The End Of The Beginning"

 John Wilder has posted his Civil War 2.0 status report for October 2025, which he has entitled "The End of the Beginning." Meaning that we are at the end of the preliminaries:

I have moved the Clock O’Doom to 9. ["Opposing sides develop governing/war structures. Just in case."], given the open support of assassination and criminality by the GloboLeft and the increase in violence as well as direct interference with ICE and the insertion of the military into law enforcement.  Beware: the number can climb quickly.    

John elucidates on this further, but I think the key point is that "Keep in mind, there is really no doubt about how the GloboLeft feel about you and everyone to the right of Mr. Rogers™.  They want you dead and will celebrate the moment that it happens."

     While we have seen plenty of street violence in the past from the leftist storm troopers--BLM, Antifa, and their like--what we have seen recently has moved beyond their Brownshirts cosplay. I came across the following articles just today:

• "Chicago police ordered to ignore Border Patrol agents’ plea for help while surrounded by angry mob of protesters"--New York Post.  
• "Trump to send 400 Texas National Guard troops to Illinois as anti-ICE protests continue to rage: Pritzker"--New York Post.  
• "Illinois sues to block Trump’s deployment of National Guard in Chicago"--New York Post.  
• "White House blasts ‘SICK’ Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson for creating ‘ICE Free Zones’ banning agents"--New York Post. 
• "Federal judge blocks Trump’s National Guard deployment to Portland amid constitutional challenge"--New York Post. 

The article about the ICE vehicle is not the incident where ICE agents were boxed in by 10 vehicles where a woman displayed a firearm and was shot, but a different incident where the driver repeatedly rammed an ICE vehicle. Anonymous Conservative discussed this incident earlier today (10/6/2025), explaining that "[r]amming is a practiced technique of vehicular surveillance. Knowing just how hard to hit a vehicle, and where, to do what you want, requires practice. So why does surveillance ram? It does it to alter a target’s course, and occasionally just to distract." He then surmises that the vehicle ramming was intended to derail a raid that might have netted someone important to the opposition forces. 

    On a higher level, what we are seeing is increasingly bold insurrection--armed insurrection--evidenced by the violence against ICE agents and ICE facilities with blue governors,  mayors, and judges attempting to block any federal response. As I've noted before, the foot soldiers are not associated with the political leaders of the movement in order to establish "plausible deniability" similar to Russia's use of "little green men" early in the Ukrainian conflict, who were obviously Russian soldiers, but because they did not have Russian uniforms or insignia, Putin could claim that they were simply self-defense forces from the Russian speaking portions of Ukraine over which he had no control. 

    At this point, the political leaders don't have to issue specific instructions to Antifa and other paramilitary groups on the left. They simply have to identify ("paint") the target and make it the subject of their rhetoric knowing that someone in their legion of "little green men" will act on it.  The issue will be how far will the left push the issue, or if they will back down in order to gain some breathing room and regroup.
