Dan Davis looks at the debate on whether the Vinča symbols or the Danubian Script made by the Chalcolithic societies in South East Europe were writing or just symbols or designs. If they are writing, they would predate Mesopotamian cuneiform writing by a thousand years.

But one thing's for sure: if we convince the population at large or even a large number of archeologists, the Egyptologists will still never believe it.
