Politico reports that, to combat high beef prices in the U.S., Trump is raising the quota on beef from Argentina to 80,000 metric tons, which the article says "has spurred intense backlash from farm-state Republicans and agriculture industry groups who have felt burned by several Trump administration policies in recent months." Yup. First cracking down on illegal aliens and now this. What's next? Getting rid of the mandate to put ethanol in gasoline?
