Although the video is 9 minutes long, it is the first minute and 8 seconds that is relevant here, showing the Chief of Police asking "what does that mean" when quizzed about the "chain of command". As the video reveals, the Chief truly was a DEI hire, being elevated to her position from being the chief equity officer for the department. As Anonymous Conservative noted about this incident:
And she is bringing in about $270,000 per year officially, as crime gets so bad the President has to take the city over, and God only knows how much more she makes off the books. But work hard, study hard, do all your homework, and get good grades, anon, because that is the path to “success.” You can be anything you want to be in this country. Unless it involves fame, money, or power. You can see why people like that love the conspiracy. She would never have gotten near that office in a truly free, meritocratic society.
