VIDEO: ATF Continues To Insist That Pistol Braces Are Illegal

According to the video below, the ATF indicated in a recent court filing that, despite the pistol brace rule being struck down, the reasoning behind the rule was still valid and it still considers pistols with braces to be short barreled rifles.

    1. How times change. In the 1930s, the U.S. Supreme Court rules that short barrel shotguns could be regulated because they were not used by the military and, therefore, did not fall within the ambit of the Second Amendment. Today, the military commonly uses short barreled rifles and shotguns, so that is the excuse for prohibiting them.
