Lessons From Another Horrific Black-on-White Murder

You may have seen this story without realizing the full extent of the crime. This past Monday, September 8, were the first reports of the grisly murders of Frank Olton, 76, and Maureen Olton, 77, who were tortured and killed by Jamel McGriff. As one article relates:

McGriff, described by police as a career criminal, is a level 3 sex offender with a lengthy criminal record stretching 30 years. He was released from prison in 2023.

McGriff served 16 years in prison for an armed robbery and is wanted in two more armed robberies this summer.

He had also failed to register as a sex offender in November 2024--a parole violation--yet was still free to roam the streets, victimizing people.

McGriff was in the couple's home for 5 hours before leaving. The BBC reports:

Shortly after he left the home, the city's fire department was called to the property for a report of a fire.

The couple's son received an alert via his parents' home-security system about a fire at the home.

After the blaze was controlled, the Oltons' bodies were found.

"Mr Olton was found in the basement, tied to a pole with multiple stab wounds. Mrs Olton was found on the first floor, severely burned," Ms Tisch said.

The New York Post had originally reported that "[t]he suspect had earlier knocked on other doors in the neighborhood asking to charge his cell phone but was turned away before Frank Olton was seen on surveillance footage apparently allowing him in his backyard around 10:18 a.m., authorities said. The footage showed the owner apparently letting his killer in the rear door, according to cops." Police now believe that "the victim told the suspect to hand over his phone and wait by the gate as he charged it inside, but once inside the gate, the suspect appears to have taken advantage of Olton's kindness by pushing his way into the house."

Given the amount of security footage from the victim's home and others, McGriff was quickly identified and photos circulated showing him to be yet another black career criminal. What aroused my suspicion was the lack of any photographs or description of the victims beyond simply stating their ages. I felt certain that the victims were probably white, given that McGriff was described as having tortured them, but I could find no verification, no photographs of the victims. Where the media purposefully holding back this information as we have so often seen in other cases because it goes against The Narrative?

Yesterday, however, photos were finally released of the victims and, as I expected, they were white. And then there is this: "When [McGriff] was arrested, he chillingly told police, 'I’ll admit it. I killed them. I don’t give a f–k. I burned them n—s,' prosecutors revealed at his arraignment late Thursday night."

Going door to door seeking "assistance" for something--to borrow a phone or, as in this case, to charge a phone--is a common trick used by criminals to gain access to your home. The lesson here is to not admit anyone like this to your home; do not open your door to them. Even if your brainwashing tells you that you are being racist.

Also, even if you are being careful--as Frank Olton thought he was--a criminal might still force his way into your home. Thus it is wise to carry a concealed firearm at home in case you are suddenly facing someone breaking and entering.

    1. I think a big part of nostalgia is a yearning for the high trust societies that existed in our younger days.
