The Realist pointed me to a recent video (below) from YouTuber "704 Gear" who shoots .22 LR ammo that he has stored for 10 years. The first batch was just stored in a shed with no climate control (with temperatures ranging from below freezing in winter to well over 100 degrees in summer), while the second batch was from a buried storage cache. The ammunition was Winchester Super-X. The ammunition was test fired in a Savage bolt-action .22 rifle and a Taurus TX-22 semi-auto pistol. There were no issues with either batch.
