If you have been following the news articles about the Charlie Kirk assassination, most of the liberals were outright gleeful. The Democrats in the House of Representatives started chanting "No!" when the Speaker called for a prayer. MSNBC pundit Matthew Dowd suggested that Kirk was killed by a celebratory gun fire from one of his fans before describing Kirk as "one of the most divisive younger figures... who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech aimed at certain groups." Cooler heads, realizing what this would to MSNBC's bottom line, fired Dowd. However, that did not stop leftist from calling for the assassination of other conservatives or even people that were liberals but didn't like the trans movement.
Other liberals worked to ward off what is coming. Jimmy Kimmel, for instance, rolled out the same tired shtick when a liberal does something heinous, going on Instagram and "urging fans to avoid 'angry finger-pointing' and to condemn the 'senseless gun violence'." Trust Kimmel to immediately start pushing leftist talking points on gun control.
Fellow late night show host Stephen Colbert also offered a poignant address about Kirk's assassination in his opening monologue on Wednesday night's The Late Show.
He compared Kirk's assassination to the political unrest that roiled the US in the '60s, such as the killings of civil rights leader Martin Luther King and President John F. Kennedy.
However, the two liberal hosts were among the few on their political side to offer sincere condolences - with a blight of left-wing social media fanatics celebrating Kirk's murder.
The article continues by citing numerous examples.
Elon Musk correctly pointed out on X that the Democrats are the party of murder. Their condolences are insincere and come too late. As Florida Rep. Ana Paulina Luna stated to her fellow Representatives that are Democrats:
“I am done with the rhetoric this rotten House and corrupt media has caused," she declared. "EVERY DAMN ONE OF YOU WHO CALLED US FASCISTS DID THIS."
The congresswoman declared, “You were too busy doping up kids, cutting off their genitals, inciting racial violence by supporting orgs that exploit minorities, protecting criminals, and stirring hate. YOU ARE THE HATE you claim to fight.”
Similar to Kimmel, Barack Obama tried to stave off finger pointing, writing on X:
“We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.”
But he, too, was rightly blamed for his role in this, including his attempts to start a race war and calling white people and Christians "fascists" and "Nazis" and sowing hate against conservatives daily. Trump also correctly noted:
'It's long past time for all Americans and the media to confront the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequences of demonizing those with whom you disagree, day after day, year after year, in the most hateful and despicable way possible,' he said.
'For years, those on the radical Left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world's worst mass murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we're seeing in our country today and it must stop right now.'
The calls from the left to avoid finger pointing is a moot issue anyway, as "[t]he bullet used to kill conservative activist Charlie Kirk was engraved with transgender and anti-fascist ideology" and the "bullets found inside the rifle [used by the assassin], a .30 caliber hunting rifle, also contained messaging on them." This on top of the timing of the shot:
Kirk was fielding questions from the audience inside the Sorensen Center courtyard on the campus at the time.
'Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?' the person asked. Kirk responded, 'Too many.'
The questioner followed up: 'Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?'
'Counting or not counting gang violence?' Kirk asked. Then a shot rang out. Kirk immediately slumped over as the crowd descended into a frenzy.
On the other hand, Anonymous Conservative has collected some data points indicating that Kirk was starting to temper his enthusiasm toward Israel and believed that Epstein had worked for Mossad. But he also notes a couple posts by lefties the day before the event predicting something was going to happen to Kirk at the event.
All that aside, what will be the consequence of Kirk's assassination? I don't know. But I am seeing pundits reporting on how this and the murder of Iryna Zarutska "radicalizing" Republicans.
- "The Morning Briefing: Assassination and the Watershed Radicalization of the American Right" by Stephen Kruiser.
- "Ramifications of Charlie Kirk Assassination Could Be Huge"--Roger Simon.
Perhaps it will be nothing more than conservatives realizing, as I've pointed out for years, that Democrats are both stupid and Evil. Perhaps it will spawn federal investigations that will expose the truth about the left.

No matter how many guns and how much ammo you have, it isn’t enough. Arm up and carry everywhere you can.
