Although we don't, today, associate Christmas with ghost stories, it appears to have been part of the general entertainment at some time. The quintessential Christmas ghost story is Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," but here is a reading of another by Dickens (and quite a bit shorter). Although it involves "goblins," the story makes clear that they are spirits or some other incorporeal beings, so I think it falls within the category of a "ghost story".
