The Daily Mail has an article entitled "Private investigator reveals how to identify if you are being FOLLOWED while driving home - and details top tips for evading potential suspects." It is actually pretty standard advice: use your review mirror; if you think you are being followed, make three consecutive right hand turns; if the person is still behind you, they are probably following you. If you think you are being followed, don't drive to your home (or work) but instead go to a police station. Take down the license number, if possible. The investigator also noted that there are websites where you can look up information concerning license plates, such as FindByPlate.
In my town, I'd see if they'd buy me a beer. That makes people scatter.
ReplyDeleteOr make 12 consecutive right turns. Then you will be headed back to where you were going, and having gone around the block with you three times they will be feeling pretty stupid.
