Echoing thoughts expressed byAngelo Codevilla’s seminal 2010 essay America's Ruling Class—And the Perils of Revolution, the video below discusses how society has fallen under the sway of a parasitic class of elites. From the description:
Unelected networks of bureaucrats, corporate executives, think tanks, NGOs, and central bankers now shape policy with minimal public oversight, while Western institutions replace meritocracy with ideological conformity.
This is why our society feels like it’s run by an HR department: a bureaucratic priesthood of manipulators endlessly managing perception and emotion while producing nothing of substance.
