I shouldn't anymore have to bring up Robert Putnam's research showing the relationship between higher ethnic diversity and declining social trust. But here is another example of it in action: a collection of videos of houses where treats had been left outside in bowls for the kids while the owners were away, and certain demographics showing up to take as much of the candy as possible and, sometimes, even the bowls or decorations.
