I don't know much about this cartridge, but it was supposed to be able to offer you the choice of both super-sonic and sub-sonic capabilities, but with better ballistics and power than the .300 BLK. On the other hand, it is a boutique cartridge from Hornady that requires special powder and apparently has no super-sonic offerings according to the video. Although it was intended for shooting out of the AR15 platform, the video goes over the many problems with trying to get it to shoot reliably from an AR15 not the least of which is that the cartridge really requires a curved magazine to feed reliably (which is a problem with the straight magazine well of the AR). The author also describes why the cartridge is ballistically deficient.
