Funny enough, we were joking about how Anderson Cooper was being forced to report from outside in Hurricane Milton while the real weatherman was inside, and the possibility of Cooper being injured by flying debris. And, viola: "The terrifying moment Anderson Cooper gets hit by flying debris live on air while covering Hurricane Milton"--Daily Mail. But that is why he gets paid the big bucks.

Of course we must take this with a grain of salt. After all, in 2018, Cooper was caught exaggerating the depth of water after a hurricane by standing in a ditch or borrow pit filled with water while his cameraman standing nearby was only in ankle deep water. And he is not the only weatherman to fake storm reporting as the video below highlights some of the most blatant misrepresentations caught on camera.
