It is quite amazing how not only is the federal government not providing assistance, but it actually standing in the way of private citizens providing assistance. Some state and local officials, as well as some prominent NGOs are also involved:
- "They’re SO Not There To Help"--Vox Popoli. Vox Day comments: "The federal government does not want to help you. It has been actively trying to kill you, and attempting to interfere with anyone who gets in the way. This attempt to shut down donations and volunteers in Tennessee is no different than the attacks on all the doctors, nurses, and people speaking out in public about the dangers of the vaxx." He goes on to note that the Red Cross and FEMA/TEMA are confiscating donations given to local high school volunteers in Tennessee; volunteers have been told to leave and must be trained by United Way if they want to help; donations are not being distributed to people unless they are approved.
- "Helicopter pilot threatened with arrest after flying rescue missions in flood-ravaged NC"--New York Post. The pilot, "Jordan Seidhom was flying victims out of the devastation over the weekend when local leaders told him there was a flight restriction on the area and that they would have to arrest him if he continued making flights."
- Even though Hurricane Helene made landfall on September 27, the Department of Defense has only just authorized 1,000 troops from Ft. Bragg to assist in delivering food and water.
