Swarming tactics sound a whole lot like the domestic "urban youth" flash mobs that descend on targets to terrorize, loot, and destroy. The only meaningful difference between militarily significant targets and flash mob targets is that the flash mob does not expected their target to defend itself with lethal force.

ReplyDeleteYup. I started looking for these articles after reading Colin Flaherty's article. But it has relevance to thinking about defense or, under certain circumstances, taking the offense.
