Spencer Pratt’s once-comfortable lead in the Los Angeles mayoral primary has been slashed yet again — as a fresh batch of ballots delivered another major boost to progressive City Councilmember Nithya Raman in their race to the November runoff.
New results released Saturday show Pratt’s advantage over Raman shrinking to just 7,494 votes, down from more than 20,000 a day earlier. Roughly 78% of the ballots had been counted as of Saturday.
"Progressive"? More like a communist as she is a member of the Democratic Socialist of America.

The latest ballot update on Saturday delivered another major boost for Raman.
The likelihood of Socialist Democrat Nithya Raman being elected Los Angeles’s next mayor is surging following multiple late-breaking ballot dumps nearly a week after polls closed and despite having trailed Republican Spencer Pratt by ten points on Election Day.
The Indian-born Los Angeles city councilwoman who entered the race in February sits in third place at the time of writing Saturday night. She is just one percentage point behind Pratt, a former reality star with whom she is competing for the second spot in November’s runoff election, according to The Associated Press (AP). With 78% of ballots counted, incumbent Democratic Mayor Karen Bass has 34.6% of the vote, Pratt has 27.3%, and Raman has 26.2%.

the supreme court made it very clear when Texas tried to get them to look at the cheating in other state's Presidential election vote counting ... and was told they had no standing. NO STANDING. The other state might cheat and cause a cheesedoodle to get elected, but you Sir, have no standing. Whomever is president of this nation does not effect you at the state level. That was what they said when they declared "No standing".
ReplyDeleteSee, I agree, Texas shouldn't be able to tell other states how to conduct their vote. That's a fair statement. But saying Texas has no-standing is patently false. If another state allows cheating in their vote process, and that most certainly can impact an election, than it is false that Texas would not be materially harmed. The legal premise is erroneous, and it should be overturned.
