The two attorneys discuss a video where a landowner confronted a bowhunter alleged to be trespassing (the hunter claimed he was land that he'd leased and used for years, so it is not clear whether there was actually a trespass). The problem was that the landowner was brandishing an AR15 at the bowhunter who was, at the time, in his tent and did not in any way present an imminent threat of grave bodily harm. Based on the facts available from the recording of the incident, the landowner was clearly not justified in threatening lethal force. It begs the question of whether the bowhunter would have been justified in using lethal force in defending himself. Anyway, a good discussion on trespass and use of force and how messy the facts can be in a self-defense scenario.
