I'll Take Your Threat And Raise It....

The Daily Mail reports that, in response to North Korean leader,  Kim Jong-Un's, continued threats and posturing, President Trump has warned that future threats would be met with a violent response. According the article, Trump stated:

He [Jong-Un] has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said they will be met with the fire and fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before,
According to the article, North Korea is estimated to have 60 nuclear weapons; the US has more than 6,800. But it isn't the nuclear weapons that are critical in this. Rather, it is the "smart" weapons and air superiority, and highly trained and technologically advanced South Korean and U.S. forces on North Korea's southern border.

I know that a lot of people have hypothesized that a conflict with North Korea could lead to a wider war, but I stand by my earlier prediction that North Korea will probably fall as quickly as Iraq. Since China signed off on the U.N. sanctions against North Korea, something has obviously happened behind the scenes, and and it seems unlikely North Korea will be able to rely on support from China. Rather, as China will probably quickly move to seal its borders, North Korea might find China acting as the anvil against which its forces will be trapped as the South Korean/U.S. hammer falls.
