Collapse of Bronze Age Civilizations

Last month I reviewed the book 1177 B.C.--The Year Civilization Collapsed. Today I saw an article at the Daily Mail discussing the book and its author's theories, including that the civilizations collapsed due to a perfect storm of drought, war, and earthquakes.
