Maine Democrat and RINO Call For More Gun Control

The Hill reports that Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine) stated at a press conference that although he had previously "opposed efforts to ban deadly weapons of war, like the assault rifle used to carry out this crime," he would "now call on the United States Congress to ban assault rifles, like the one used by the sick perpetrator of this mass killing in my hometown of Lewiston, Maine".

I wasn't aware that they had recovered the weapon used, let alone determined that it was fully automatic.

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), at the same press conference, wouldn't publicly admit that she would also support a federal law to ban scary looking rifles, but she did state: “I think it is more important that we ban very high-capacity magazines. I think that would have more input and more effectiveness[.]” Like it did in the Parkland shooting where the killer used the state-approved 10-round magazines. Because the extra couple of seconds to switch out magazines is going to make all the difference in the world. Just like all the other laws prohibiting the shooter from possessing firearms or taking them to drinking establishments were effective in stopping this crime.

Do they put something in the water in D.C. to mentally retard everyone living there?

And what's a "very high-capacity magazine"? Is that like having a volume control knob that goes to 11?

  1. Gun control fanatics don't even wait for the bodies to cool before they start screaming for more gun control.

    1. That because they don't actually care about saving lives. They just care about scaring up votes and money.
