Looking Forward

(Source)

Despite 21 states signing onto the suit, the United States Supreme Court refused to hear Texas' challenge to the unconstitutional change to voting procedures in Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The justification given by the Court was that Texas lacked standing--that is, a legally cognizable interest--to challenge the conduct of elections in other states. The holding is strange since states and their citizens would clearly be harmed if a president were elected by illegal means. Purportedly, Chief Justice John Roberts bullied the newer justices to side with him based on fears of large scale rioting by the Left, although he may have other reasons to vote as he did

We should not be surprised that all of this happened. Back in June 2016, former Obama campaign manager David Plouffe warned, “It is not enough to simply beat Trump. He must be destroyed thoroughly. His kind must not rise again”. "His kind" means you and me.

Absent Pres. Trump crossing the Rubicon by invoking the Insurrection Act or similar, the Supreme Court’s decision to not hear the suit filed by Texas undoubtedly means that Biden will be sworn in as President in January. So what then?

Biden will be a weak president lacking clear control of the Senate and with no great "mandate" from the voters. The taint of a stolen election and lack of legitimacy will cling to him the rest of his days. As Pat Buchanan writes:

American politics will be even more poisoned and polarized than it has been for the last four years. Tens of millions of Americans will see themselves as disfranchised and believe that the greatest champion they have had in decades was illegally driven from power by the same deep state-media conspiracy he fought for four years.

And as sure as a dog returns to its vomit, Biden will enact economy killing policies that will probably deliver the House of Representatives to the Republicans in the mid-terms, although this may be upset by the mass importation of Democrat voters from Central America and the exodus from the Blue States to the Red States. Robert Zimmerman warns that with this election, "[d]o not expect there ever again to be a legitimate election in the United States. Expect Democrats to begin winning every race, in every battleground swing state."

The general consensus is that there are dark days ahead for the Republic. Buchanan thinks a physical secession is unlikely, but adds that "a secession of the heart has already taken place in America. We are two nations, two peoples seemingly separated indefinitely." Matt Bracken believes there will be blood, although he does not explain further. Roger Kimball takes a middle-position, stating that "I do know that those who think that Joe Biden represents the return of ‘normality’ are about to be profoundly disabused," and comparing our situation to the eve of the Civil War in 1858. Max Velocity takes the position that although a civil war is called for, the vast majority of Americans will do nothing, and meekly hand over their firearms.

I don't know if there will be a civil war in our near future, but I am sure that things will not return to normal. Notwithstanding MV's opinions of the American people, we are already seeing conservatives push back with "Stop The Steal" marches and fights with Antifa and BLM rioters. There will be a growing resistance consisting of non-compliance with government laws and orders, such as refusal to abide by whatever Covid lockdowns Biden attempts, further spread of 2nd Amendment sanctuaries, more protests, etc. Ironically, gun and magazine restrictions and COVID diktats will drive the process: once a person ignores state or federal gun control laws or COVID restrictions, a psychological barrier is crossed that makes it easier to ignore other laws. So, just like the police tend to avoid certain neighborhoods in crime-ridden cities, federal officials and officers may start to find it dangerous to travel into some areas of the country. Surveillance cameras may be vandalized. Power cut to federal facilities. Nails carelessly fall off the back of trucks outside parking lots used by federal employees. Vandalism. Hacking. Doxing. Drip, drip, drip ....

Ideally we could have a peaceful separation. Gregory Hood, for instance, suggests "building power locally, moving to the country, and promoting secession within states. Some of these things are happening. There are movements to build a 'greater Idaho,' to expel Chicago from Illinois, and to have parts of Virginia join West Virginia." But the hate is too strong. Hood notes later in his article that "Donald Trump didn’t 'radicalize' Republicans, he radicalized Democrats. Many of them want to pack the Supreme Court, eliminate the Electoral College, impose sweeping gun control, and create new states that will guarantee Democratic hegemony." Worse, the Left proclaims that "'Whiteness' itself is the problem. While our opponents may claim that 'ending whiteness' isn’t the same thing as 'ending whites,' substitute any other group and it certainly sounds that way." Moreover, we have reached a stage of Sorathic evil: that is, "Evil as the negation of The Good - any good. So, evil loses any positive goal and becomes directed-against Truth, Beauty and Virtue; against life and consciousness, against the natural and spontaneous, against Beings and their relationships."

What we are therefore seeing here is a very pure form of Sorathic negation. Even the Global Establishment themselves, the people who are imposing societal destruction on the world, do not understand why they are doing this work of societal destruction.

They insist upon its necessity; but they cannot coherently explain it!

The reason is that the 'need' for societal destruction cannot be explained in materialistic terms - which are the only terms possible in public discourse; and among those who deny the reality of God and creation.

The true reason for societal destruction is that human society is Good and therefore needs to be destroyed... In this burgeoning world of Sorathic evil, we need to stop looking for the 'advantage' in evil. Need to stop trying to 'explain evil' in terms of it (for example) making more money for Them, or giving Them more power...

From now, evil needs gain no advantage by its action: evil thrives purely on the destruction of whatever is Good.

Evil has therefore ceased to be a triad, and has become a unity - the unity of negation; the unity of simple destruction of Good.

The consequence is that civil war will be inevitable because there is no compromise possible between the two sides of the body politic. In his book, Prophecy--Key to the Future, Duane S. Crowther cites various early LDS Church leaders concerning a second civil war. Orson Pratt, speaking in 1879, described this second civil war:

[I]t will be very different from the war between the North and the South. Do you wish me to describe it? I will do so. It will be a war of neighborhood against neighborhood, city against city, town against town, county against county, state against state, and they will go forth, destroying and being destroyed and manufacturing will, in a great measure, cease, for a time among the American nation. Why? Because in these terrible wars, they will not be privileged to manufacture, there will be too much bloodshed, too much mobocracy, too much going forth in bands and destroying and pillaging the land to suffer people to pursue any local vocation with any degree of safety. What will become of millions of the farmers upon that land? They will leave their farms and they will remain uncultivated, and they will flee before the ravaging armies from place to place; and thus will they go forth burning and pillaging the whole country; and that great and powerful nation, now consisting of some forty millions of people, will be wasted away, unless they repent.

(Crowther p. 50). Joseph Smith is also quoted as saying:

A terrible revolution will take place in the land of America, such as has never been seen before; for the land will be literally left without a supreme government, and every species of wickedness will run rampant. Father will be against son, and son against father, mother against daughter, and daughter against mother. The most terrible scenes of murder and bloodshed and rapine that have ever been looked upon will take place.

(Crowther 53). Unlike the Civil War of the 1860s, this will be a war without set geographic boundaries or front lines, and protests will blend into mobs will blend into armies.

You might want to bone up on Bracken's CW2 Cube to understand the conflicting sides to this coming mess.

  2. I would love to comment on so many of the above articles but, TBH, the types of things I have to say at present are best not published online where they go public and on permanent record. Lately I've found myself censoring my posts on forums I belong to and, more often than not, I decide to not post at all.
