Harvard Has Become Lake Wobegon

Garrison Keillor would famously describe his fictional every-town of Lake Wobegon, Mich., as "where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average."Apparently that describes Harvard. According to a tweet from the Harvard Crimson, "[t]he median grade at Harvard College is an A-, and the most frequently awarded mark is an A." This is not surprising since there have been reports for years of the grade inflation of the so-called "elite" universities. Apparently, once in, it is almost impossible to flunk out. It is a symptom of the entitlement expectations among the elite.
