A Monday Medley of Videos

I want to thank all of you for your patience. I had a couple large projects that I was finishing up at work, and then was traveling this past weekend to attend a wedding for one of my nephews, which meant that my posting has been spotty. But, enough of that, and on to the Monday Medley of Videos:

This is another in a series of videos illustrating concepts set out in the book, Tactical Manual: Small Unit Tactics

"Pocket Pistols vs Snubnose Revolvers"--Lucky Gunner Ammo (11-1/2 min.)
This is the latest in Lucky Gunner's series on the pocket pistol. This episode compares pocket semi-auto handguns versus snubnose revolvers (particularly the S&W J-frame). Essentially, though, the host makes the point that unlike full-size semi-autos that can be extremely reliable, pocket sized semi-auto pistols can still be finicky; thus, the real choice between the pocket semi-auto and snubby is one of ammunition capacity and slightly better concealability versus reliability.

"If I Could Only Own One Firearm"--Paul Harrell (17 min.)
Fortunately, this is an abstract question for the majority of Americans. Nevertheless, Harrell goes through his reasoning as to his choice of the Beretta 92 based on his needs and abilities. Of course, and as he repeats several times in his video, this is Harrell's evaluation for him, and does not apply to other people. But on the way, he considers and even tests some other weapons, including the Taurus Judge loaded with buckshot.

A different take on everyday carry items, looking at what a convicted felon could legally possess (I presume that this information would be for a felon that is no longer on probation or parole, since the probation or parole terms are generally much stricter). It may also have some application to people living in areas that are more restrictive of what people can purchase as firearms. Nevertheless, whatever your situation, research your local laws. The author spends about half of the video discussing black powder revolvers, and then moves onto other items, such as a knife, and a multi-tool called the Bone Opener (I presume sold by the author's own company) which can serve double-duty as a knuckle-duster.

"Solar Cycle 25 is Coming | Dunning/Davidson"--Suspicious Observers (5 min.)
Although the current solar cycle is weak, we are moving into the period of the solar cycle when we should see an uptick in the number of sunspots.

"The Tears of a Clown"--Paul Joseph Watson (4 min.)
After saying for years that there was no border crises, the Democrats are now trying to turn the situation into a moral crises. Not the least of these is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (aka Occasional Cortex), who, unable to find an actual detention center, filmed herself weeping and wailing at a fenced off, empty parking lot.
