Vox Day: Technology Changes War

Vox Day related in a recent post of a force of 70 IDF soldiers and Western mercenaries that entered in Yemen, but were apparently wiped out by Houthi rebels in an ambush. The explanation for this disaster is that the IDF/Western forces were tracked by Russian satellites from the moment they infiltrated into Yemen, and the information was given to Iran which passed it on to the Houthis. In a line reminiscent of my comments about surveillance and British protests, the person being interviewed about the massacre (Col. Douglas Macgregor) stated: "... persistent surveillance today changes everything in warfare. It not only enables precision strike [sic] on a scale that has never been the case in the past, it makes it impossible for forces to infiltrate into regions without being discovered."

    1. There is a reason that Leftist protestors wear masks and it isn't fear of the flu.
