The Resistance Is Growing

In addition to protests by Farmers in France, Belgium and Germany, a few days ago the Daily Mail reported that "Now tractor convoy threatens to lay siege to Rome: Militant farmers are poised to descend on Italian capital after German workers blocked Frankfurt airport as anti-Brussels protests sweep across the EU." That article notes that "[t]he movement erupted in France last month and there have also been protests in Germany, Belgium, Poland, Romania, Greece and the Netherlands. Farmers have blocked motorways and disrupted traffic in key cities with convoys of tractors." And, yesterday, RT reported: "Spanish farmers join protests over EU regulations." From that article:

Spanish farmers blocked several major highways nationwide on Tuesday in what is the latest protest by agricultural workers in a European country, against rising costs, taxes and European Union (EU) bureaucracy.

The latest farmers’ protest followed similar demonstrations in Germany, France, Belgium and other EU countries, with much of their ire directed at EU regulations that, they contend, harms their abilities to earn a living in an overly-competitive marketplace.

With different shades, in the whole of the EU, we have the same problems,” Donaciano Dujo, vice president of Spanish agricultural advocacy group ASAJA, told broadcaster TVE.

Ahead of union-led protests planned for Thursday many farmers mobilized tractors across the country on Tuesday to stage mass blockades that gridlocked numerous traffic thoroughfares across Spain.

Affected areas included Seville and Granada in the south of the country as far as Girona in the country’s north close to the French border, Reuters said on Tuesday, citing local traffic authorities.

Chief among the farmers’ complaints is that EU policies imposed to protect the environment harms their abilities to compete with agricultural producers from Latin America, or from non-EU countries.

Here’s what happened in just one week.

The Canadian federal court ruled that the declaration of the Emergency Act was counter to the Constitution. Exactly one month before the Statute of Limitations was to run out on civil cases. There are instructions how to sue the government everywhere now. Did they freeze your account? Arrest you? The logistician Tamara Lich was arrested and held in jail without charge for months, and she is going to be rich.  She started as a logistics manager for a trucking company and she may just run for Prime Minister. This is a genuine peoples’ movement.

    Protests/Uprisings currently ongoing in:

    America

    Germany

    UK

    Scotland

    Canada

    France

    Belgium

    Austria

    Spain

    Italy

    Lithuania

    Poland

Roadblocks on fire as main arteries into Paris continue to be blocked, same in other areas of France. Farmers have started digging up the roads into Paris, and getting them ready to plant.

700,000 trucks on the way to the U.S. southern border.  Texas National Guard took over the border. U.S. farmers lending assistance. The Border Patrol Union says it will not arrest the Texas National Guard for following their lawful orders. Border Patrol posts on X “TX NG and rank-and-fine BP agents work together and respect each other’s jobs. Period.”  Once the police join the rebellion, it’s over.

Thousands of taxi drivers in France support the farmers. Macron hiding in palace hiring 15,000 police to combat farmers. Hundreds of thousands of French support the farmers.

    Government buildings in France burning.

French farm tractors lining beach outside of Macrons’ beach house.

Ten percent of UNRWA staff are now believed to have affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad. 190 UN staff accused of being hardened killers.  Ten countries cut funding to UNRWA. Canada sent the money just before the storm broke. Iranians are all through the Canadian government at the highest levels and Poilievre immediately called for a formal inquiry into Iranian influence operatives. He then refuses funds to UNRWA going forward.

And a whole lot more.

One of the key points she makes is that is all possible due to the sharing of information online. We should not expect the elites to fold, but to double down. Thus, why we see articles like this from the New York Post: "Biden’s AI plan to censor you revealed: Researchers say Americans can’t ‘tell fact from fiction’." An excerpt:

Twitter’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 could soon be possible on an industrial scale — thanks to AI tools being built with funding from his father’s administration, a report from Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee claimed Tuesday.

The report reveals how the Biden administration is spending millions on artificial intelligence research designed to make anti “misinformation” tools which could then be passed to social media giants.

And it discloses how researchers who got funding for the plan — known as “Track F” — emailed each other to say that Americans could not tell fact from fiction online, and that conservatives and veterans were even more susceptible than the public at large.

The report was published by the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Government, which is chaired by Jim Jordan (R-OH).

It casts new light on how funding from the National Sciences Foundation is being given to elite institutions including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Madison-Wisconsin and the University of Michigan, for a program called “Trust & Authenticity in Communication Systems.”

“Track F” was launched to identify “misinformation” and create “education and training materials” for those with “vulnerabilities to disinformation methods.”

It is part of a larger initiative, “The Convergence Accelerator Program,” that aims to solve issues with “significant national impact” by finding high-level research and which was quietly launched in 2021.

In theory, tools like this could be used to remove child pornography or deepfake photos — like the nude images created of Taylor Swift.

But the Republicans’ report details how researchers working on the technology aimed to censor the general public, with the $13 million program’s manager Michael Pozmantier describing it as “focused on combatting mis/disinformation.”

At MIT, one researcher told NSF officials “broad swaths of the public cannot effectively sort truth from fiction online.”

The researcher specifically called out “military veterans, older adults, military families” and those in “rural and indigenous communities” as particularly vulnerable to believing misinformation.

At the University of Michigan, one researcher who received millions suggested one possible outcome of the research was outsourcing content “moderation” decisions from social media platforms to government officials.

“Our misinformation service helps policy makers at platforms who want to… push responsibility for difficult judgments to someone outside the company… by externalizing the difficult responsibility of censorship,” a researcher at the University of Michigan’ said in a pitch to the NSF.

Another researcher at University of Wisconsin-Madison who received funding said the team, “was specifically focused on… skepticism regarding the integrity of U.S. elections and hesitancy related to COVID-19 vaccines.”

The researchers point to certain groups like those that read “the Bible or the Constitution” as subject to misinformation.
