The Sig P365 SAS

Recoil Magazine has an article about the new Sig Sauer P365 SAS pistol. "SAS" stands for "Sig Anti Snag" and this is largely accomplished by removing the sights.
Instead of the typical [iron sight] system, the P365 SAS has what they’re calling a Flush-Mounted FT Bullseye Fiber-Tritium Night Sight. It appears to be the same concept as a guttersnipe sight, but modernized like the Israeli TAS fiber optic sight.
It looks to me that it is just a Meprolight FT Bullseye Sight, except embedded in a cut out in the slide so that nothing protrudes from the top of the slide. You probably need to see the photographs to appreciate the sight and what it does to make the weapon snag free. (See also the Sig Saur web site).
