Article: "What To Do If Approached About Carrying A Firearm In A Store"

Ammo Land has a nice article discussing how you should react to a request from a business proprietor or employ to leave a store because you are spotted carrying a firearm. Most of the time this will be a case of openly carrying a firearm, but it could happen to concealed carriers too if they inadvertently expose the firearm. The main point is to be calm and pleasant: you are going to get anywhere by arguing store policy with the manager or, if they are called, the responding police officers. But the author also emphasizes that you should not sign anything proffered or produced by the business or the police without having a lawyer review it first, with the exception of a summons that might be issued by the police (failure to sign the summons might result in the police having to take you into custody).
