Tanker Reaches Nome

I've been following the stories on the attempt to get fuel to Nome, Alaska. The latest reports indicate that the Russian tanker has now reached Nome--approximately 1/2 mile from the port--and that they were waiting for the ice to refreeze around the ship so they could start preparing to lay the fuel hoses necessary for delivering the fuel.
