I just did, for all the good it may do. The CDC has indicated that this year's vaccine does not protect well against the current strain sweeping across America: influenza A (H3N2), which has been linked to higher rates of hospitalization and death, especially in the elderly. The shot will provide some protection, but not as much as when the vaccine is better matched up with the particular strain.
It is always a bit of a crap-shoot with flu vaccines because scientists have to predict which strain(s) will be spreading, and it looks like this year's predictions were a bit off.
