The (In)tolerance of the Left: Cathy Newman's Interview of Jordan Peterson

        You've most likely heard or read of this already, but in case you haven't, there has been much schadenfreude on the right over Dr. Jordan Peterson's excoriation of Cathy Newman over issues of gender differences and whether there is a right not to be offended. I have linked to the video of the interview below.

         Newman is the host of a news program on the UK's Channel 4, and, as you can see in the video, she constantly and deliberately misstates everything that Peterson says, so that he has to spend half of the time correcting her. Although the actual "interview" didn't have this exchange, I saw a meme that was actually a good illustration of Newman's tactics:

        Peterson: "I had eggs and bacon for breakfast."

       Newman: "So what you're saying is that we should kill all vegans."
