The Box O'Truth Looks at Improvised Bullet Resistant Vests...

In this case, the vest were made using 50 old x-ray negatives for each pocket (front and back). Surprisingly, the vests worked as against .22 LR, .38 Special wadcutter, and a 158 grain Round Nose lead bullet for .38 Special. However, it was easily penetrated by any sort of jacketed 9 mm, and by .223.
