Video: The Tesla Valve

This video describes a valve invented by Nikola Tesla and patented in 1920. The valve is designed to act as a one way valve for fluids (air or water, for instance), using the properties of the fluids and the internal geometry of the valve, rather than anything mechanical, to prevent the fluid from flowing backward through the valve. Of course, watching this video, my first thought was its application to sound suppressors.
