Perhaps There Is Redemption For Murderers

Punishment can take various forms. From the Tactical Hermit: "Jailhouse Justice Times Three: Inmate Serving 16 Life Sentences Kills Three Child Sex Offender Pedo’s." The whole thing is funny in a macabre way. But the best part from an interview of the killer:

“The taxpayers no longer have to pay for them,” he continued. “I’m paying my debt to society.”

That he is.

  2. Many years ago I worked for the BOP for a little less than a decade. I remember one afternoon count this scrawny inmate interupted count. I told him to be quiet but he said his life was in danger. We paused the count took him into the office and asked what was happening. He said that he had befriended a jailhouse lawyer and that he had found out what the scrawny inmate was in for. Apparently, a few inmates told him he was going to get what he had coming. They pissed on his bed and threatened to set him on fire. We had to finish the count so I locked him in the stairway between the housing units until count cleared. After that we brought him to the SHU, special housing unit for his safety. As much as I dislike a diddler, we did have a job to do, as do the inmates. He ended up trying to suicide himself by slicing his arm and bleeding out. This was discovered during count in the SHU and he was treated at a local hospital. I remember his name and I remember what he told everyone he was in for. Once he was stupid enough to trust a jailhouse lawyer with his case, all bets were off. He was eventually shipped to another facility...
