Video: "1177 BC: The Year Civilization Collapsed"--a presentation by Eric Cline, PhD

(1 hour and 10 min.)

Although Dr. Cline mentions that the Exodus occurred during this period, I suspect the Exodus was probably a key event. Egypt, in ancient times, was the breadbasket of the Mediterranean. If grain shipments from Egypt were keeping other nations afloat, and then suddenly the slaves that grew and harvested the grain suddenly up and left, what would be the natural result? In any event, Cline also wrote a book about this topic (which he discusses in the video), which I review here.
