From Shootings News Weekly: "When the UK’s Met Police Show Off Their Award-Winning Armed Cop And She’s Doing Everything Wrong." Police Constable (PC) Fiona Shaik Umar, apparently part of the Women In Firearms Attachment, was being celebrated for being an excellent officer. Excellent at what is the question. The photograph of her standing next to her superior officer shows here holding an AR style rifle, finger on the trigger, with the barrel pointed at the other officer's leg. It rightly earned her criticism, but this being the UK, rather than admit that their award winning diversity hire had screwed up the official response was to blame critics as being racist and misogynistic.
