On April 11, 2025, I had linked to an article reporting on an uptick in earthquakes around Mt. Spurr, a volcano on Alaska, as a possible prelude to the volcano becoming more active. Now a report that the volcano is venting steam from its summit crater.

ReplyDeleteFrom a geological perspective, the last 100 - 150 years has been pretty peaceful. Maybe it is time for it to return to the norm. Of course, it will be blamed on global warming.
