Yes. There is a lot of that. I find myself constantly fast forwarding through videos to see of the producer ever gets to the point. Fortunately, a lot of YouTube videos now show a graph above the fast forward/rewind bar that shows the most replayed portions that helps immensely in finding where the interesting part of the video begins.
