News of the World (July 29 - Aug. 6)

Just some miscellaneous stories that didn't seem to fit anywhere else:

A monthslong investigation into a rural California warehouse uncovered an illegal laboratory filled with infectious agents, medical waste and hundreds of mice bioengineered "to catch and carry the COVID-19 virus," according to Fresno County authorities.

Health and licensing said Monday that Prestige Biotech, a Chinese medical company registered in Nevada, was operating the unlicensed facility in Reedley, California, a small city about 24 miles southeast of Fresno. The company, according to Reedley City Manager Nicole Zieba, had a goal of being a diagnostics lab.

"They never had a business license," Zieba told USA TODAY. "The city was completely unaware that they were in this building, operating under the cover of night."

The Fresno County Public Health Department launched its investigation into the facility in December 2022 after a code enforcement officer saw a garden hose attached to a building that was presumed to be vacant and had no active business license, Zieba said.

Officials founds samples of viruses including HIV, COVID, chlamydia, rubella, and malaria.

  • Refugees welcome: "Now a Disease from Biblical Times May Be Coming Over Our Unsecured Border"--PJ Media. Long story short: Leprosy, also called Hanson’s Disease, is an infection caused by slow-growing bacteria called Mycobacterium leprae. It had been steadily declining in the United States from its peak in 1983 until 2000. Since then, cases have started climbing again. Historically, the majority of cases in the U.S. came from zoonotic exposure: they came from the same strain of the bacteria found among armadillos in the area.
But while a recent systematic review “supports an increasing role of anthroponotic and zoonotic transmission of leprosy,” another study demonstrated that the cases in the eastern United States, including Georgia and central Florida, “lacked zoonotic exposure or recent residence outside of the United States.”

That led researchers to suspect “that international migration of persons with leprosy is a potential source of autochthonous transmission.” They noted that “The number of international migrants in North America increased from 27.6 million persons in 1990 to 58.7 million in 2020, so a link to migration may account for the increase in incidence of leprosy in historically nonendemic areas.”

As the article concludes: "So, not only are migrants bringing communicable diseases like COVID-19 and tuberculosis across the Southern border, but they’re also likely bringing leprosy."

The Texas Department of Public Safety learns the immigration status of suspects booked into local jails through a program that submits fingerprints to the FBI for criminal history and warrant checks, and to DHS…

The glimpse is limited and not a reflection of much almost certain higher totals, but it is telling about the trend line ahead across America. Between June 1, 2011, and July 31, 2022, these 259,000 illegal aliens were charged with more than 433,000 unnecessary, preventable criminal offenses. Those included 800 homicide charges (resulting in 374 convictions as of July 2022), 822 kidnapping charges (resulting in 265 convictions), 5,470 sexual assault charges (resulting in 2,593 convictions), 6,485 sexual offense charges (resulting in 3,065 sexual offense convictions), and 4,945 weapons charges (resulting in 1,723 weapons convictions).
The vast majority, the authors noted, arrived in the U.S. in their formative years, either as children or teenagers and most often through former President Barack Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program that blocked deportation of certain foreign youth.

These students, often referred to as "Dreamers," have grown up in “American neighborhoods and attended American schools,” and now they are attending U.S. colleges, often on the American taxpayers' dime. Recent data shows that taxpayers pay $182 billion each year to provide services and benefits to illegals and their dependents.
“The Blaze” notes that over the weekend, South Africa’s Marxist-Leninist political party, the Economic Freedom Fighters, held their 10th anniversary celebration. Along with singing the praises of Vladimir Putin, party leader Julius Malema led the crowd in a chant: “Dubul’ ibhunu” or, “Shoot to kill, kill the Boer, kill the farmer.” If you did not know, “Boer” refers to the white Dutch settlers who came to South Africa. Specifically, “Boer” means farmer in Afrikaans and Dutch. The reference is to white people. ...
Russia has practiced ethnic cleansing for centuries. This involves moving one ethnic group and replacing it with another. Most Western nations now consider this a war crime though it still occurs and often goes unpunished. A current example is the Russian occupation forces in Ukraine who are now trying to ethnically cleanse the remaining Russian-occupied areas after outright failing to pacify the locals, who were remarkably uncooperative and often violently opposed to the Russian occupation. This was made worse by Russian efforts to get local Ukrainians to cooperate in accepting the fact that Russia now considered them Russians, by trying to take away Ukrainian identity documents, including passports, and replace them with Russian documents. That did not work and, worse, many local Ukrainians joined the armed partisans and that included killing Russian-appointed officials. Russia, per its centuries-old ethnic cleansing solution to troublesome minorities, believes the easiest way to get rid of the partisans is to send all the Ukrainians to Russia and replace them with Russians. Russia calls this “filtration” but this is a war crime according to the Geneva Convention. In March 2023: Vladimir Putin was indicted by the ICC (International Criminal Court) for war crimes.

You know how else you engage in ethnic cleansing? Simply bring in so many people foreign to the area that they overwhelm the local populace in numbers and power, use their influence to protect their criminal predations, suck up jobs and services, and either dilute the local populace or force them to leave. The United States has been waging a war of ethnic cleansing against its population since at least 1965.

Just the News reported, “Devon Archer delivered bombshell testimony to Congress on Monday, telling lawmakers that Burisma Holdings pressured Hunter Biden in December 2015 to deal with a Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating the firm for corruption shortly before the then-vice president took steps to force the prosecutor's firing, according to lawmakers familiar with the transcribed interview.”

    Big deal.

Joe Biden himself bragged five years ago about withholding aid to get the prosecutor fired. Here’s the video. Republicans did nothing about Biden admitting to doing what RINOs and other Democrats falsely accused Trump of doing. Nothing has come out of Biden storing classified secrets in his garage.

There is no way Joe will be impeached or Hunter will do any jail time because if they go down, all of Washington will go with them. Washington protects its own because they fear if one goes to jail, he will bring them all down.

Hillary said she would bring DC down with her. Guess what? She never was indicted even though she forwarded state secrets via email to foreign donors to her fake charity when she was secretary of state. Jim Comey, then FBI director, even admitted publicly that he had the evidence but would not recommend prosecution.

He said, “Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before bringing charges. There are obvious considerations, like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent. Responsible decisions also consider the context of a person’s actions, and how similar situations have been handled in the past.”

Comey made it clear that the fix was in by warning others not to try the same thing. He said, “To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.”

His FBI spied on political opponents to please Barack Hussein Obama.

When this became public knowledge, do you know what a Republican-controlled House and a Republican Senate did?

Nothing. They did nothing. No prosecutions were recommended. Paul Ryan likely laughed. He hates President Donald Trump with a passion because Trump is an existential threat to the Banana Republicans and their allies in the Democrat Party. Life is good in Washington. Everyone goes along to get along, and the pay is great.

Ryan entered the House a pauper. As he began his final term in 2017, his net worth was $7,307,041.

The FBI’s efforts to mislead a federal court in order to wiretap an adviser to the Trump campaign were more extensive than previously reported, according to classified documents described to RealClearInvestigations.

The embattled bureau tried to hide its misconduct by redacting information about its actions under the guise that it involved sensitive intelligence information. RCI has learned that at least some of the redacted material, included in a “Classified Appendix” to Special Counsel John Durham’s final report, has nothing to do with protecting “sources and methods” and other “sensitive” investigative techniques.

Instead, it covers up additional improper behavior by the FBI brass, which initiated and signed off on all four of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act applications to spy on former Trump adviser Carter Page and his contacts within the Trump campaign and presidency in 2016 and 2017.

For example, the FBI tried to justify continuing to spy on Page in early 2017 by indicating to the secret FISA court that it had verified a rumor about Page receiving dirt on Hillary Clinton from the Russian government and facilitating a “well-developed conspiracy of cooperation” with the Kremlin to swing the 2016 election in Trump’s favor. But the bureau had corroborated no such thing. Its source was a front-page report in the Washington Post – one the newspaper later retracted after determining it was false, according to two former U.S. officials who have seen the original, unredacted FISA applications and described the passages to RCI.

The embarrassing revelation hasn’t been previously reported thanks to redactions blacking out references to the Washington Post article in the still-partially classified applications. The officials confirmed to RCI that the censored section covers up the FBI’s reliance on the bogus Post story, published in March 2017, as purported evidence supporting probable cause to continue spying on Trump’s former aide. In the sections of the FISA renewal applications blacking out references to the Post, the officials said, the FBI claimed the underlying text was “sensitive information.” The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss still-classified sections of the FISA warrant affidavits.

The FBI’s references to the Post story are contained in the April and June 2017 FISA applications. These applications were so tainted by bad information, politics, and glaring exculpatory omissions that after an inspector general’s probe, the Justice Department years later had to secretly concede to a federal surveillance court that they were “insufficient” to establish probable cause to spy on Page and therefore “were not valid”

Read the whole thing. The FBI has become a nest of vipers that will have to be rooted out and destroyed in order to protect the Republic and Constitution.

... set in a frighteningly plausible future Amerika in which guerrilla warfare that claims thousands of lives per year has become a way of life: National Guard I.D. checks at bridges and airports, sabotage of the Lincoln Memorial and Statue of Liberty; endless riots, strikes, assassination attempts in the total splintering disintegration of our country. In desperation, the President approves Operation Wild Card -- a super top-secret science group that will fabricate an outer space threat in the form of an accidentally crashing UFO that will release a deadly virus killing approximately 10,000 Angelenos -- hopefully unifying the country. The technical difficulties of creating both non-earthly ""hardware"" and life-forms (""cerebroids"" linked organically to each other and the space vessel) and the engineering gimmickry necessary to replicate a bona-fide crash, are as exciting as your average adventure story. As for the dubious morality of the project, the woman with a conscience kills herself, and as for the rest -- dead men don't talk, maybe. The President makes Nixon look like St. Jerome -- but what about a ""national security project"" that could truly save the country by killing off a city?

Not as far-fetched as you might think. From the Wikipedia article on "Operation Northwoods":

Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation that originated within the US Department of Defense of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for CIA operatives to both stage and commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets, blaming them on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba. The possibilities detailed in the document included the remote control of civilian aircraft which would be secretly repainted as US Air Force plane, a fabricated 'shoot down' of a US Air Force fighter aircraft off the coast of Cuba, the possible assassination of Cuban immigrants, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, blowing up a U.S. ship, and orchestrating terrorism in U.S. cities. The proposals were rejected by President John F. Kennedy.
