I was in Walmart this morning (Saturday) and I didn't see any regular incandescent bulbs over 40 watts. I did see more expensive halogen bulbs, which have many of the same benefits of regular incandescent bulbs (instant on, good color temperature and CRI), and lots of nasty CFLs.
