"Fifth Circuit Rules Federal Interstate Handgun Sales Ban is Unconstitutional" reports Shooting News Weekly. The ban was there to protect states, like New York, which had strict gun control laws, from people going to a free state, buying a firearm, and bringing it back. But for decades we've heard these same gun control states complain that it doesn't work. This ruling conflicts with one from the 2nd Circuit, so it sets up a conflict that could help it be heard by the Supreme Court--assuming it is appealed, that is.
