A selection of articles and video showcasing the benefits of diversity, equity and inclusion: 

• "It Should Be Obvious By Now That Not Everyone Can Become An American"--The Federalist. 

     Vice President J.D. Vance hit on this in a speech for the Claremont Institute over the weekend. “You cannot swap 10 million people from anywhere in the world and expect America to remain unchanged,” he said. “You cannot export the Constitution to some random country and expect the same kind of government. Our citizens are not interchangeable cogs in the global economy.”

    But beyond immigration, Vance is touching on something essential about America that has been largely lost, suppressed really, for more than a generation: America is not just a “propositional nation,” not just an idea but a people. That’s why you cannot export the Constitution to some random country and expect the same kind of government or suddenly import millions of people from foreign lands and expect America to survive. We are not a set of abstract propositions to which anyone from any part of the world can assent and suddenly become an American. We are a people with a common language, culture, history, customs, and so on.

• "40 to 50 Million Illegal Aliens in US – Florida Attorney General"--Info Wars. At least this much. The official estimates were around 11 million for decades even as we know that millions continued to pour across the border. Self deportation is likely behind declining housing markets in certain housing markets. 
• Flashback to 2023: "1 in 5 Chicagoans identify as Mexican, new Census data shows"--Chicago Sun Times. 
• "7th Circuit: 2A Doesn’t Apply To Illegal Aliens"--The Truth About Guns.  The court's reasoning:

     “From the colonies to—most critically—the early Republic, governments consistently conditioned the ability to possess firearms on one’s loyalty to the sovereign,” the ruling stated. “People outside the polity were regularly disarmed unless and until they swore an oath of allegiance. This provides strong historical evidence that the Founders would have considered such regulations compatible with the Second Amendment.

    “All told, the English tradition establishes a historical pattern of disarming persons who lacked allegiance to the sovereign. Importantly, though, an individual could overcome that limitation by swearing an oath to the sovereign.”

• "Panic spreads as Maine residents are infected with world's deadliest disease"--Daily Mail. 

     Fears are being raised in Maine after three people in the state tested positive for the world's deadliest disease.

    The patients were diagnosed with active tuberculosis and there was no connection between them, suggesting each was infected by a different source.

    They are in the Greater Portland area, officials said, and work is now underway to identify and isolate their close contacts.

• "CDC: Three Quarters of Tuberculosis Cases in U.S. Are Among Foreign Born"--Breitbart. 
• "Med schools still accept black students with lower MCATs than rejected Asians, whites"--College Fix. A pretty clear case where DEI = DIE. 
• More: "Medical Schools Still Discriminate Based on Race, Records Show"--City Journal. 

    It’s been two years since the Supreme Court banned racial discrimination in college admissions. Nonetheless, at medical schools, evidence suggests that the discrimination continues.

    That’s my conclusion after submitting Freedom of Information Act requests to all 93 public medical schools. I asked for several years of admissions data, including on students who matriculated in 2024, following the Supreme Court’s ruling against affirmative action in Students for Fair Admission v. Harvard. I sought data on race, undergraduate grades, MCAT scores, and admission status, in order to assess whether racial disparities in admission standards persisted after the decision.

    Twenty-three medical schools have answered my request, including flagship institutions in states like Tennessee, Wisconsin, Missouri, New Mexico, and Colorado. The data they provided make it clear that schools are at least skirting the Supreme Court’s decision, if not violating it outright.

     Accepted black applicants had lower average MCAT scores than accepted white or Asian students at all but one school, Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Thirteen schools accepted black students with average MCAT scores lower than the score of the average rejected Asian or white applicant. That suggests black applicants receive significant preferential treatment.

    In fact, at two schools—Eastern Virginia Medical School and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health—black applicants were about ten times likelier to be accepted than were Asian and white applicants with similar grades and test scores. ... 

• Speaking of DEI: "White male Port of Seattle worker was best candidate for promotion...then a gay Asian woman applied, lawsuit alleges"--Daily Mail. "An electrician working at the Port of Seattle has claimed he was passed over for a promotion because he is a white, straight male - and a gay Asian woman had also applied for the position."

     'Plaintiff ranked highest in the first-round interview; nevertheless, management scheduled an unprecedented second-round interview,' the lawsuit claims.

    Another employee, an Asian woman who identifies as gay, was then allegedly coached by the head of maintenance - who served as an interview committee member. 

    That created an 'unfair advantage' in the interview, Linhardt's attorneys argue.

    The other employee ultimately wound up receiving the foreman position, though Linhardt's lawyers say she had 'substantially less supervisory and hands-on experience.'

    'Upon information and belief, Defendant's decision makers were motivated by Plaintiff's race, sex and/or sexual orientation in deciding not to promote him,' the lawsuit argues.

• "Top Civil Rights Attorney Harmeet Dhillon Cracking Down on H-1B Discrimination in White Collar Hiring"--Breitbart. The article reports that "[t]he alleged jobs-for-kickbacks scandal [involving Walmart] is fueling online criticism of the H-1B visa program which allows C-suite executives to discard Americans and to fill jobs with noncitizen, white-collar workers from India and other countries." The DOJ is now asking people to report illegal discrimination in hiring involving H-1B visa holders. 
• "HUGE HIRING SCAM EXPOSED!… Job Search Sites Caught Hiding High-Paying Jobs from Skilled American Workers in Order to Hire Foreigners! – But They Got Caught! – Jobs.Now Website Is Sharing These Available Jobs to Americans"--Gateway Pundit.  

     Internet sleuths have uncovered a likely illegal scheme where U.S. companies and job search sites are systematically hiding lucrative job openings from qualified, skilled American workers, all to funnel those jobs directly to foreign workers through H-1B and green card Permanent Labor Certification “PERM” loopholes.

    The scheme is as dirty as it gets: corporations bury ads in obscure corners of the internet or tiny Sunday print listings, while deliberately keeping those same jobs off their main career sites where real Americans are actually looking.

    Why? So they can claim to have “advertised” positions to U.S. citizens while quietly handing them to foreign applicants.

• "Raid At LG/Hyundai Plant In Georgia By ICE And ATF"--Victory Girls. 

 Several Federal law enforcement agencies worked in a joint operation to raid a plant under construction outside of Savannah Georgia where our desperately needed batteries will be built. Allegedly, the raid netted 560 illegal aliens or people who overstayed their visas. 

According to information in the article, "The detained employees are alleged to have been working on the site without proper work permits, having entered the US under the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) or short-term B1 business visas." And this:

 Analysts and corporate executives in Seoul said the raid is raising fears that the US crackdown could disrupt other multibillion-dollar manufacturing projects in semiconductors and batteries, possibly hurting US ambitions to tighten its grip on global supply chains.

• "Trump administration to rescreen 55 MILLION visa holders in dramatic deportation escalation"--Daily Mail.  The audits will check to see if the visa holders broke any rules that might result in revoking their visas. 
• "Hegseth Pulls Plug on Chinese Involvement in Pentagon Cloud Operations"--Legal Insurrection.  

    Last month, ProPublica published the findings on an investigation that exposed Microsoft’s “digital escort” system. Their analysis revealed that U.S. personnel with security clearances were supervising foreign engineers, including those in China.

    As this was an Obama-Biden era legacy program, it will likely not surprise Legal Insurrection readers that these “escorts” often lacked the expertise needed to supervise engineers with far more advanced technical skills effectively. 

• Background: "Microsoft’s Use Of China-Based Engineers Could Be Leaving Pentagon Tech Exposed To Hackers"--Daily Caller. 
• "Foreign Citizens Should Never Be Allowed To Serve In American Government"--The Federalist. The author argues:

     It does not matter if individuals become naturalized citizens of the United States, so long as they retain the citizenship from wherever they came, they should not be allowed to serve in the American government.

    Either they renounce their foreign citizenship, or stop serving in our government. And, it is more preferable that they self-deport if they feel strongly about keeping the other citizenship.

I think Christ had something to say about this: "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other." Matt. 6:24.

• "The British establishment pushes back against the Scottish lass narrative"--American Thinker. 

The story of the Scottish lass arrested for brandishing a knife and axe in the face of a migrant who was apparently threatening and taunting her swept through the West. This bold young woman symbolized the fighting spirit of those who are sick and tired of having their governments flood their countries with hostile Muslim migrants who act like conquerors, entitled to lodging, food, and rape. After a day or so of stunned silence, though, the British establishment has struck back with a story of an innocent Bulgarian couple threatened and taunted by a crazed teen.

 In an update, quoting Turning Point UK, we learn more about the man that accosted the girls:

    This is the man accused of harassing children & was threatened by the 14-year-old girl in Scotland.

    Fatos Ali Dumana a self-described ‘gypsy gangster man’, who has posted saying he is “waiting for you whores to get in my super car” - is not a model migrant as the media claims.   

• The problem with trying to keep a tight lid on public discontent is that when it finally blows, the consequences will be all the worse: "Mass Deportation and/or Civil War: The stakes are rising in Britain" by Francis Turner. The author observes that despite broad public support to reduce immigration--"a desire that in the case of illegal immigration, YouGov recently found was held by mindblowing 79%1 of those questioned - no one has actually reduced it." And even if politicians do come up with plans to address illegal immigration, the courts declare the plans illegal. 

     ... Judges seem to like inventing new laws and interpreting old ones in ways that are counter to common sense and/or the desires of the electorate. Many current UK politicians, including of course Prime Minister Two-Tier, are lawyers and they tend to obey the courts instead of directing them.

    Officialdom fails to grasp that their flouting of the desires of the population is the problem. It is not “wise” to invent reasons why criminals should remain undeported or “brave” to stop the authotities from executing the law of the land. Objecting to Farage’s plans, does not mean that everything will continue unchanged. That is not the case. If you block Farage you open the door to something more determined, because Farage is the moderate.

 And:

    What they haven’t said directly, but clearly imply, is that if the judiciary fails to provide that due process and tries to block the whole thing then the judiciary is now a part of the problem. That is officially civil war territory, it sounds remarkably like the complaints our revolting ex-colonial brethren had in the 1770s, not to mention the complaints against Charles I in the 1640s. In the Americas they just kicked the crown out. In the 1640s the crown literally lost his head (and almost 50 years later his son only kept his by bravely running away).

    The UK isn’t there yet. But it is on the (Liverpool) pathway to it. The police and the courts seem more worked up about mean tweets than about actual crimes, and more concerned about the fate of foreigners than those born in the country. Officialdom, and particularly the judiciary, can still keep their heads, if they actually start listening to the populace and implementing their clearly expressed wishes. Judges need to consider that they rely on the rest of the system and the general public to go along with their decisions. If they fail to do so they may discover that they are a handful stacked against hundreds and, in the UK for sure, they don’t have the weaponry to defend themseleves when attacked by a mob. 

But the judges and officious officials have the full might of the security state to back them up. Did you really think anti-terrorism laws have anything to do with terrorism?

  What should be noted is that an extremely large number of German suspects are individuals with a foreign background, but since they have German passports, they are counted solely as “Germans.” Even with those with dual citizenship, they are only counted as Germans. 
• Fools: "Denmark Made a Special Exception To Let In Hundreds of Palestinian Refugees. Here’s What Happened."--Free Beacon. Short take: "Sixty-seven of the 321 refugees received prison sentences, while a majority relied on public welfare."
• "Why is No One Talking About the Somalian Gangs Taking Over Minnesota?"--Town Hall. 

 The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood in Minneapolis has been referred to as "Little Mogadishu" due to its significant Somali immigrant population, which is named after Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital. Between 2010 and 2018, violent crime in the area rose sharply, increasing by 56 percent. According to census data collected by Minnesota Compass from 2008 to 2022, over half of that population, more than 44,000 people, are Somali immigrants born outside the United States.

• You can't say this: "If you want to reduce the number of murders, banning minorities would accomplish a lot more than banning guns"--Atavisionary.  The author looks at crime statistics and realized: "Small and distinct areas contribute most of the murders in this country. If we were to take those areas and kick them out of the US, our problem with murders would almost go away completely." 
• "The Morning Briefing: Unhinged Trans Mob Loons Just Won't Give It a Rest"--PJ Media. When J.D. Vance visited Annunciation Catholic Church following the mass shooting committed by a trans shooter, protestors showed up waving LGBT flags. 

     This didn't have to be a battle, but the Democrats have made it one by forcing their unbalanced, radical views on us. Now that mass shootings are a component of being forced to care, the stakes are deadly. 

    Leave the kids alone, that's all we've ever wanted. The Democrats keep coming for them, though. That's the best reason yet to keep them away from power.

• "More Of Minnesota Shooter’s Writings Uncovered: ‘Gender And Weed F***ed Up My Head’"--Daily Wire. 
• Seems like some towing companies could be making a bundle off this: "Las Vegas church outrages neighbors as congregation parks SIX HUNDRED cars on lawns and driveways"--Daily Mail. 

    Las Vegas residents were left outraged as congregants at an Ethiopian orthodox church continue to illegally park their vehicles on lawns and driveways.

    Neighbors of the Hamere Noah Kidane Mihret and Saint Michael Ethiopian Church told KLAS they have repeatedly reached out to Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft and used the Fixit app as they were instructed, but nothing has changed in years.

    'We document that and we provide that proof and we have found that there's no follow up,' said Daria Wu, who gathered her fellow neighbors to discuss the issues they have faced during the services at the church.

• The Leftists can't find enough white racists so they have to make some up: "Black Comedian Paints Himself White, Goes to NASCAR, Doesn't Find What He Expects"--PJ Media. According to the article, a black comedian out there named Druski (whose given name is Andrew Desbordes) dressed up in "white face" (i.e., makeup and wig and clothes to look like a caricature of what Leftist think white southerners look like) and went to a NASCAR race hoping to find some racists NASCAR attendees. He couldn't, so he decided to add the racism himself:

 The Post notes that at one point, the white redneck Druski “disgustedly spits at the feet of a black man walking past him while leaning against the hood of a car.” Nor is that all: “In another moment, he stops his truck beside a black man and asks him ‘You lost, boy?’ When the man tells him he’s going to the NASCAR race, Druski leans out the window, spits, and tell him to ‘find something safe to do, boy.’”

•  The MSM prefers "journalism" to "reporting" because the latter connotes some degree of accuracy: "Noem: CBS ‘Shamefully’ Edited Interview to Hide MS-13 Ties"--Legal Insurrection. This is the part that CBS didn't want its viewers to hear:

 "This individual was a known human smuggler, MS-13 gang member, an individual who was a wife beater and someone who was so perverted that he solicited nude photos from minors and even his fellow human traffickers told him to knock it off. He was so sick in what he was doing and how he was treating small children, so he needs to never be in the United States of America, and our administration is making sure we’re doing all that we can to bring him to justice."

• "Burn It Down, Build It Back Woke: Newsom to Dump Low-Income Housing in Million-Dollar Pacific Palisades Neighborhood"--Gateway Pundit. "Low income" being a code phrase in California for "illegal aliens" and "immigrants". 
• "Now Comes the California Fire Sale: China-Based Company Is Buying Up Land Incinerated by Firestorms"--PJ Media.  
• "International Buyers Purchased $56 Billion Worth Of US Homes In 1 Year"--Zero Hedge.  
• "For Democrats, It’s Always Social Justice Graft All the Way Down"--Battle Swarm Blog. The author raises a couple of examples: (i) that the DOT under the Biden Administration gave away $80 Billion in DEI grants; and (ii) "[t]he people raising money for Palisades fire relief also stole the money by giving it to left-wing NGOs" with the consequence that none of the money apparently went to help the people that the donors intended to help. 
• "How the forces of militant Islam precipitated the English Civil War and changed England forever"--History Debunked. From the lede:

 At school, we learned about the causes of the English Civil War, chief of which was a dispute about ‘Ship Money’. We know that this led to a struggle between the king and parliament and that this led in turn to a civil war, which resulted after a few decades in the country becoming a constitutional monarchy, where the main power in the land is an elected government, rather than the king or queen on the throne. Most of us though have long forgotten what Ship Money actually was and have no idea that it was inextricably linked to Muslim ambitions to conquer Europe.

And:

... In the 16th century, the centre of the Muslim world had shifted from Arabia to what is now Turkey, and the rulers of the Ottoman Empire turned their sights on the conquest of Europe. This was to be accomplished both by nibbling away at the Balkans and the kingdom of Hungary, by incursions on land, and also attacks on shipping and coastal areas in a long, drawn-out campaign which has been described as the ‘marine Jihad’. This war of attrition was conducted by Muslim ships which sailed out of ports in North Africa where the modern day countries of Algeria and Tunisia are now to be found. These privateers, seized ships and raided villages, carrying the inhabitants off and selling them into slavery. England suffered particularly from these depredations.

In order to quickly strengthen the British navy (ostensibly to stop these Muslim attacks on shipping and coastal cities and towns) Charles I levied a tax called "ship money" on coastal counties and cities requiring them to either provide a warship or the equivalent in money. However, the raids continued leading to complaints from taxpayers over the value being received for their taxes. 

    Put plainly, they were saying, what is the use of our paying all this money for ships if the navy can’t even protect shipping from the corsairs? Two years later, the English Civil War began and the question of Ship Money, and by extension the raids by the corsairs from North Africa, was a major factor in precipitating the conflict between Parliament and the Crown. It was upon the ports that the burden of raising Ship Money first fell and they felt aggrieved that despite paying such vast sums to the exchequer, their citizens were still being captured and taken off into slavery. Little wonder that these cities chose not to back the king when the civil war began.

    In this way, it may fairly be said that the English Civil War itself was precipitated by the Jihad being waged against Europe by the Ottomans. The land offensive culminated in the Siege of Vienna in 1683, during which the Muslim armies reached the heart of Europe, but by that time England had changed out of all recognition and a new constitutional settlement reached in which the power of the monarchy had been drastically curtailed. We have militant Islam to thank for this transformation.
