Governments lie to their citizens all the time. Some of it is stupidity on the part of government officials, but mostly it is active attempts to shape public sentiment or change behaviors. It is nice when someone puts the effort into countering these lies.
- One of the most pernicious lies is that of anthropogenic global warming. One of the "facts" used to support this narrative is that the Greenland Ice Sheet is melting. But that is not so: "Greenland’s 2022-’23 Ice Coverage Well Above 1981-2010 Average Despite ‘Global Boiling’ Rhetoric"--Watts Up With That. Both in Greenland and in Antarctica, the melting ice used to "prove" global warming has been found to be melting because of volcanic activity.
- One that appeared in Canada a few years ago is that Catholic operated schools had killed hundreds of Native American children that attended those schools, supposedly proven by mass graves located at those schools. You might remember that in the aftermath of those shocking allegations, dozens of churches (not just Catholic) were burned or vandalized. The truth: "Alleged mass grave of indigenous children at Catholic schools across Canada contains NO BODIES, excavation shows - as experts suggest it's proof the stories were fabricated"--Daily Mail. See also, "No human remains found 2 years after claims of ‘mass graves’ in Canada"--New York Post.
- And the government and various allied anti-gun groups are constantly downplaying the role that armed citizens play in protecting the public from crime. The reality: "Report: Armed Citizens Stop Active Shooters 8x More Often Than FBI Claims"--Breitbart.
- Of course, as we are always told, migrants and refugees and racial diversity more generally make a country a better places to live--particularly the more backwards the migrants. The reality: "Local Police Tell Swedes to Dress Like Hobos to Avoid Getting Robbed"--Citizen Watch Report. And: "Swedish cities hit by four residential explosions in an hour"--The Guardian. The article indicates that the bombings are believed to be related to drug gangs. But, if you have been following what has been happening in Sweden since it started admitting large numbers of migrants, you also know that these gangs are migrant gangs. Another thing to keep in mind is that Sweden used to have one of the lowest homicide rates in the world. Now, per the Guardian article: "The country registered 391 shootings in 2022, 62 of them fatal, up from 45 the previous year, according to police data."
That coat was just asking for it.
