Church Security -- Warrior Poet Society

John Lovell is a former Ranger and missionary that runs a training company (as well as web site and YouTube channel) called the Warrior Poet Society. He recently posted the video, below, on forming a church security team. It is the first of a 12 part series. The series appears to be hosted on YouTube, but the videos (other than the first) are unlisted. However, Lovell has made the entire series available for viewing (at no cost) at his website (LINK). I only just watched the first video last night, but wanted to let you, my readers, know of this resource.

The first video is an introduction to the series and the idea of a church security team, so it focuses on why you would need security (mostly referencing mass church shootings), the theology of church security (i.e., that the scriptures do not support taking a stance that God will protect us without our doing our part), and some thoughts about making sure that the security fits in with our mission to take the gospel to the world. Based on the titles and descriptions, it appears that the subsequent videos gets into the nuts and bolts of security planning.
